Gionee is again going to launch next Marathon series phone, which is a successor of M4. This time Gionee has provided the bombastic battery in his next phone. Gionee is about to launch Marathon M5 having 6020 mAh capacity battery and coming to India on 24th November 2015. Marathon M3 was one of the smartphone which become popular in India because of its battery and Gionee, by keeping in mind that Android users require a good battery backup to work they developed Marathon Series and launched M1, M2, M3 and then after M3 launched M4 and this time it’s going to be Marathon M5.
Gionee Marathon M5 is a great smartphone in terms of battery and also has good features and configuration which we are going to describe and tell you. So, you guys also know what Gionee has done in its new smartphone Marathon M5. Marathon M5 has 1.5 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Processor coupled with 2 GB RAM and also have a graphic companion GPU Mali-T420 for the gamers but you can’t go and play high intensive 3D games with this device.
Marathon M5 has rear camera 13 MP image sensor and 5 MP front camera including 16 GB internal storage so that you can easily store your stuff like photographs, songs, data etc. on the device and you can extend the memory with the help of MicroSD upto 128 GB. There is a rumor also about the device according to which device will be available in India with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM which will justify the cost the phone. Marathon M5 price will be around Rs 23, 500, which can be considered fair enough if they provide good functionality and specification.
Specialty of Marathon M5 is its 6020mAh capacity battery which will provide you a long lasting back up of 2 days even on intense use of the phone and 4 days for normal usage as per the claimed by the company. The smartphones with such huge battery can result in a bulky model which doesn’t even look good but Gionee has smartly managed to hide that fault in just 8.5mm of thickness. Marathon M5 also has extreme mode which allows the device to remain on and lasts upto 62 hours on just 5% of battery. Marathon M5 is slightly heavy but you can consider it if you require a smartphone with good battery backup.
