Lenovo had recently launched the Vibe K4 Note smartphone in India, and now the company came up with a successor called as K5 Note in China. It is completely a new smartphone as the front-facing dual stereo speakers are missing on the K5 Note as they were in K4 Note. Another different thing is that K4 Note was having the plastic build back cover while K5 Note sports an all metal body. Lenovo K5 Note is launched officially in China and will be sold via flash sales just like the K4 Note but it is not confirmed when launch will be done of K5 Note in other markets

Lenovo K5 Note sports 5.5-inch LTFS (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon) display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor clubbed with 2GB RAM and Mali-T860MP2 GPU is present for intensive gaming and to improve graphic needed task performance It is a dual SIM smartphone which supports 4G LTE and offers other basic connectivity options including Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, FM, VoLTE.

K5 Note is having 13MP rear camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and dual tone LED flash and its front camera of 8MP for capturing the shots with mates, taking selfies and video calls. It is having 16GB of internal storage to store all the data and it can be expanded up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card as it has microSD card slot. It is loaded with the sensors like Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.

The three microphones for noise reduction on the K4 Note is also passed on through the K5 Note. It is also having a fingerprint sensor for that extra bit of security just like the K4 Note and the same sensor can be used for payments and capturing images. The speaker are present on rear and offers quality sound, it also supports Dolby Atmos Surround System.

The Lenovo K5 Note runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI overlaid and is powered by a slightly bigger 3500mAh LI-po battery  which is non removable compared to the 3300mAh non-removable battery on the K4 Note and is said to deliver 34.2 hours of talk time and lasts up to 543.3 hours on standby. Lenovo K5 Note also supports fast charging. It measures 152 x 75.7 x 8.49 mm (height x width x thickness).

K5 Note will be available in the Gold & Silver color and is priced at 1099 Yuan (approx $167 / Rs. 11,300). The registrations are already started for the first sale that will be held this week in China.
