Xiaomi has launched Redmi 7 is launched just after the launch of Redmi Y3 which is having 32MP selfie camera. Though they could have launched the phone on the same date when Redmi Y3 was launched that is a marketing strategy.
As noticed, there is not much difference in the specification of these two budget smartphones. Redmi Y3 is a 32MP Super Selfie camera smartphone while Redmi 7 is having 8MP selfie camera. Yes! it is obvious the price of Redmi 7 is lower than Redmi Y3.

The Redmi 7 sports 6.26-inch HD+ Dot Notch Display having the resolution of 1520×720 pixels. The all-new HD+ Dot Notch Display has a 19:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 86.83% for a wholesome viewing experience. Which means four are performance core and other four saves battery while working and clubbed with GPU Adreno 506. The Redmi 7 has 8MP selfie camera with 1.12.8ÎĽm large pixels having f/2.0 aperture lens. The phone now features palm shutter gesture functionality, so you need only gesture
