Samsung launched the Galaxy A9 smartphone in India, which is the world’s first quad-camera smartphone. The Galaxy A9 starting price is from Rs, 36,990 in India.

The Galaxy A9 sports 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED Infinity Display having the resolution of 1080×2220 pixels. The phone is covered by glass on the front and back along with some gradient colors to offer a premium look. The Galaxy A9 also loaded with rear fingerprint sensor the phones also offer facial recognition.
Samsung Galaxy A9 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC Octa-Core processor, with four cores clocked at 2.2GHz and four cores clocked at 1.8GHz. Which means four are performance core and other four saves battery while working and clubbed with GPU Adreno 512. Furthermore, it comes in 6GB and 8GB two RAM variants with internal storage 128GB. The storage can be expanded up to 512GB through a microSD card.

The Galaxy A9’s quad-camera system has 24MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and an 8MP 120-degree ultra wide-angle lens with f/2.4 aperture. It is possible to switch between a standard and wide-angle lens, a depth sensor or a zoom lens by a tap on the button.
Galaxy A9 sports a 3,800mAH battery with support for fast charging. Plug in the Type-C cable and power up in a flash with Fast Charging capabilities. The Galaxy A9 runs Samsung’s Experience UI 9.0 based Android 8.0 Oreo. It measures 162.5 x77 x7.8 mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 183gms.
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is a Dual-SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G and 4G. Galaxy A9 will go on sale starting November 28. The phone cost Rs 36,999 for 6GB/128GB and Rs 39,999 for 8GB/128GB variant. The Galaxy A9 also comes with a gradient design in Bubblegum Pink and Lemonade Blue colors as well as a more subtle and plain Caviar Black option.
