After the success of J series, Samsung has launched its phones On5 and On7Â recently and the response from the market was quite good because phones are much loaded with features in a low budget. Both On5 and On7 and exclusively sold by flipkart.
The review about the phone is mixed, Samsung Galaxy On5 is the smaller of the On series phones which Samsung launched recently. On series have look and feel somewhat like J7 model and some features too. But there is no doubt that it’s the best phone of Samsung in the budget of Rs 8,990. Samsung Galaxy On5 has 1.3 GHz Exynos processor with GPU Mali-T720 including 1.5 GB RAM which is good for gaming and performance but you can’t play high resolution games on this device. The same RAM size is also available in the J7 but the processor is of 1.5 GHz and J7 contains different chipset. The camera is quite nice as rear camera is of 8MP which captures decent quality images and front camera 5MP with f2.2 aperture lens which is so so.
Overall the phone is fine in this budget and you can’t event expect more than this from a big brand like Samsung. They have tried to give you the best in the minimum cost with features in phone like Ultra- Data Saving mode, this option is given because On5 is a 4G phone. The internal memory of the phone is only 8GB but you can expand it upto 128GB. Samsung Galaxy On5 also has a Quick launch camera with palm gesture selfie mode in which the phone camera gets open in 2 sec and you can take selfies by showing your palm.
No doubt guys, you can go for this phone if you really want to buy a branded phone and phone from Samsung. Galaxy On5 will not give you the chance to disappoint you if you use the phone on regular basis. Regular basis means for me is, no high performance gaming, no multi-tasking, no extra application.
