Vernee, a Chinese company has unveiled its flagship smartphone, the Apollo, at an event held in China. Earlier Vivo Xplay5 Elite was launched which is having 6 GB RAM and now Apollo arrived whose main attractive feature is also 6 GB RAM.
Vernee Apollo feature a 5.5-inch QHD display with Force Touch (pressure sensitive touch display) having the resolution of (2560 x 1440) pixels. It is powered by MediaTek’s newest Helio X20 (MT6797) clubbed with 6 GB RAM, having Mali-T880 MP4 as GPU which helps during high graphical required tasks. The X20 chipset contains 4 A53 processors of 1.4 GHz, 4 A53 processors of 2.0 GHz and 2 A72 processors of 2.5 GHz. Its theoretic frequency reaches as high as 2.3Ghz. In addition, its GPU adopts Mali-T880 high-performance processors of 850mhz as well.
Apollo is having 21 MP rear camera with Sony IMX230 sensor, having features like Auto Focus, HDR, Geo-tagging, touch focus, and 8 MP front facing camera which is good for taking selfies and video calling. For the purpose of storage it has 128 GB of inbuilt storage which can not be expanded as it do not have any microSD card slot to do so.
Vernee apollo features fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
