Xiaomi Mi5, the much awaited flagship smartphone which is officially announced by Xiaomi. Xiaomi Mi5 was in rumors due to its specification and craze of consumers about Xiaomi smartphones. Few confirmations have been received about the Mi5 specification and images of it are leaked on internet.
Company co-founder Liwan Jiang, revealed and confirmed on Weibo that smartphone has entered mass production in China and the company is working to ensure they have enough stock when they officially launch it and Xiaomi Mi5 will come packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC (System-on-Chip) which is the powerful processor.
He also revealed that Mi5 will be launched around spring festival which means at the time when Chinese new year of Monkey begins. Xiaomi Mi5 can be released after the first week of February.  Xiaomi Mi5 will be available in four colors Black, White, Gold and Pink.
Qualcomm at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2016, Las Vegas, confirmed that China based Letv Le Max Pro was the first Snapdragon 820 based device. With this confirmation, Xiaomi Mi5 has becomes world’s second smartphone to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
Xiaomi has previously teased that Mi 5 will have the fastest and smallest fingerprint sensor and according to company president Lei Jun “worth the wait,”.
Earlier the specifications which are considered to be in Mi5 are that it will be a single sim smartphone having 5.2-inch QHD display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 coupled with 4GB RAM. Also having GPU Adreno 530 and features like NFC, DLNA, Fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port etc. It may will have 16MP rear camera with phase detection auto focus technology with dual led flash and 8MP front facing camera.
