Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 launch on 19 Jan in India

Xiaomi is all set to launch its all-rounder smartphone which is Redmi Note 4, in India on January 19.  It is the successor of Redmi Note 3. In India, Redmi Note 3 came in two storage options: 2GB RAM+16GB variant at Rs 9,999 and 3GB RAM+32GB storage for Rs 11,999.

Redmi Note 4 is already available in China last year itself, and just like the previous Redmi Note 3 sports a metal unibody design. Note 4 has a 5.5-inch full HD display (1920×1080 pixels) with 2.5D arc glass design. The phone is powered by a 10-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor.

In India however, it is being expected that Xiaomi Note 4 will launched with Qualcomm Processor as Xiaomi is not authorized to sell smartphone with MediaTek processor phones because of patent dispute with Ericsson. It may have 13 MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus and dual LED flash as well as 5 MP front camera. As in many smartphone fingerprint sensor is being used by Xiaomi, it is possible that it will also have fingerprint scanner at the back.

The phone is backed by a 4,100 mAh battery and will be available in the colours: Gold, Grey, and Silver. It is a 4G dual SIM smartphone which runs Android Marshmallow-based MIUI 8 out-of-the-box and supports 4G LTE (and VoLTE-ready).
