Xiaomi is about to launch its new smartphone named Redmi Note 5 which can be a successor of Redmi Note 4 if something else is not embedded into it from its previous version of Redmi Note 4.

According to the source, Redmi Note 5 may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor for Indian version and MediaTek Helio x25 deca-core chipset for the Chinese market and will be clubbed with 4GB RAM.
Redmi Note 5 will have 5.5″ full HD display which will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It will sport 16MP rear camera and 13MP front-facing camera and for storing all these it will have the 32GB and 64GB variant. Both variants storage can be extended with help of a microSD card.
As specified that it will have two variants in terms of storage 32GB and 64GB, both will be fueled by 4,000 mAH Li-ion battery which will support fast charging for the first time, loaded with Quick Charge 3.0.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 can be priced at Rs 14,999 and it will be first launched in the Chinese market after which it will come to India.
