Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus which was first showcased at Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona, is officially launched in India at a price of Rs 8,499 exclusively via Flipkart. Lenovo has recently launched many smartphones this year like Lenovo K5 Note, Lenovo K4 Note, Vibe P1 Turbo in many countries. It was revealed by Sudhin Mathur who is the Lenovo’s Director for smartphones and India is the first country to get the new smartphone
Sudhin Mathur said during the launch event of Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus that “This is calendar year first quarter. We have already launched five phones and if I do a simple multiplier, then there are a lot of phones,”.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus features a 5-inch full HD IPS display which offers nearly 180° of wide-angle views, the large display is perfect for sharing with friends. It is a dual sim smartphone which has LTE (4G) data networks and other connectivity features also include Bluetooth®, WiFi, and GPS.
#Knockout Performance, it is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor clubbed with 2 GB RAM, the perfect balance of performance and power. Alongside, it has Adreno 405 as GPU for better graphic performance. Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has 13 MP rear camera, 5 piece lens with features like auto-focus and having f/2.2 lens. Furthermore, a 5 MP front facing camera with 4 Piece Lens having aperture of F2.8.
“The new Vibe K5 Plus will be our successor to the A6000 series in India. The series was extremely successful in the country, and we sold over 2 million devices in the A6000 range in 2015 alone,” said by Sudhin Mathur at the launch event.
Coming to storage, 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded further up to 128 GB via microSD card. Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus smartphone is equipped with twin speakers and state-of-the-art Dolby Atmos®.
Vibe K5 plus runs Android v5.1 (Lollipop) over Vibe UI. It is fueled by a 2750 mAh removable battery which runs whole day on easy base use. Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus will be available in Platinum Silver, Champagne Gold, and Graphite Grey color. The smartphone goes on sale from March 23 and will be exclusively available on Flipkart.
