Oppo R9
Oppo R9 features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by  2.0 GHz Octa-core 64-bit MediaTek Helio P10 processor clubbed with 4 GB RAM. R9 is a camera-centric smartphone which has 16 MP Sony IMX298 OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) rear camera with features like Auto Focus, HDR, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and 13 MP front facing which is good enough for capturing the selfies and for video purpose.
Oppo R9 has 64 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs Android 5.1.1 operating system based Color OS 3.0 UI. It has finger print sensor which is on the front below the display and the company claims that with the help of it you can unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds. Oppo R9 is fueled by 2850 mAh battery and it also has Oppo’s Super VOOC rapid charging technology according to which the smartphone will get fully charge in just 15 minutes.
The Oppo R9 is priced at 2799 Yuan (approximately Rs 28,747) and will be available for purchase from March 24 onwards.
Oppo R9 Plus
On the other hand, the R9 Plus features a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by 1.95 GHz Octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor clubbed with 4 GB RAM.
The R9 plus is having 16 MP Sony IMX298 OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) rear camera with features like Auto Focus, HDR, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and 13 MP front facing. It has 64 GB of internal storage expandable up to 128 GB via micro SD card slot.
It runs on Android 5.1.1 operating system with Color OS 3.0 UI. R9 Plus is fueled by a 4120 mAh battery with Oppo’s super VOOC rapid charging technology. It is 4G LTE smartphone having a fingerprint sensor, which claims to unlock the phone in under 0.2 seconds. The handset measures 163.1 x 80.78 x 7.4mm and weighs around 185 grams.
Oppo R9 Plus costs 3299 Yuan (approximately Rs. 33,899) and will be available from April 12. Both the smartphones comes in Gold color.
